Terry James Viele is the President of Whipple and Viele, A PLC, formed in 1974. He has been practicing law in Ventura, California since he was admitted to the California bar in 1972, and practices exclusively Family Law in Ventura County, California where he is a Certified Specialist in Family Law, having been admitted with the first class of Family Law Specialists in 1980.
Terry graduated from Coronado High School, Coronado, California, the University of California, Berkeley, and the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. He served as a First Lieutenant in the Republic of Vietnam in the United States Army in 1969.
Terry is past president and one of the original founders of the Ventura County Family Lar Bar Association. He holds an AV rating from the only national rating service for lawyers.
Terry is happily married to his wife Kathy, who is a middle school teacher in Ventura. His daughter holds a Bachelor's degree from Stanford University and is a young mother in Pasadena, California. His son Matthew is an engineer in New York City after receiving his Bachelor's degree in Math from UCLA and serving three deployments to the Persian Gulf as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy. His stepson Taylor is a Deputy District Attorney in the Ventura County District Attorney's office.
